Cookie Policy
Transparency about cookies and similar technologies on XDines sites and apps, and how to manage your choices.
This Cookie Policy explains how Fleebug Inc. (we, us) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our XDines marketing website or use our services, and how this relates to the EU ePrivacy rules and the GDPR (and similar laws globally). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and software development kits (SDKs) in apps. Together we refer to these as cookies unless we specify otherwise.
2. Who sets cookies?
- First-party cookies are set by us (XDines / Fleebug Inc.).
- Third-party cookies are set by partners we use (for example analytics or advertising providers), subject to their policies.
3. How long do cookies last?
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain for a set period or until you delete them.
4. Categories of cookies we use
4.1 Strictly necessary
These are required for the website or service to function (for example security, load balancing, authentication, session management, and remembering cookie consent choices). Under EU law, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent, but we still inform you about them.
4.2 Functional
These remember choices you make (such as language or region) and improve your experience. Where required by law, we rely on your consent before using non-essential functional cookies.
4.3 Analytics and performance
These help us understand how visitors use our site (for example pages viewed, approximate location, device type) so we can improve performance and design. Where we use analytics cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent in the EEA, UK, and other jurisdictions that require it, or use alternatives that minimise personal data.
4.4 Marketing and social
These may be used to deliver relevant ads, measure campaigns, or enable social features. We use such cookies only where permitted by law and, where required, only after you opt in via a consent mechanism.
5. Legal basis (GDPR and ePrivacy)
For users in the EEA, UK, and similar regimes: strictly necessary cookies are used based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional service (and where applicable to perform our contract with you). Non-essential cookies (including many analytics and marketing cookies) are used only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
6. Your choices
- Cookie banner / preference centre: When we deploy a consent tool on our marketing site, you can accept, reject non-essential cookies, or customise categories there.
- Browser settings:Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. See your browser's help section for instructions.
- Industry opt-outs:For advertising cookies, tools such as the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) or your mobile device's advertising ID settings may offer additional choices.
Blocking some cookies may affect how the website or service works (for example you may need to log in more often).
7. Third parties
If we integrate third-party services (analytics, chat widgets, embedded videos, payment pages), those providers may set their own cookies. Their use is governed by their privacy and cookie notices. We recommend reviewing those documents when you interact with embedded content.
8. Do Not Track and global privacy signals
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" or similar signals. There is no uniform legal standard; where required by applicable law (including certain US state laws), we will treat certified global privacy control signals as a request to opt out of sale/sharing for those jurisdictions. We describe broader rights in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices or the law change. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, ask for consent again for cookie use.
